Site Design

Mouselight can design a website for your business, group, or if you are an individual, a home page, to reflect your area of interest. It could be you are after a new web site or perhaps you want your present site re-designed.

Either way, this will involve designing an interface for your site. An interface is the shell into which all of your content is added. It gives a uniform look across the site and incorporates the site navigation categories. The interface can be subtly different for each main page and can be enlivened with images or motifs.

A basic site would involve 5 main pages, like this site.
An advanced site would be more complex and include sub categories.

Site Management

Once the site is designed and all the content added it must be uploaded to the world wide web. This requires loading it onto a remote server which could be anywhere in the world. You may wish to have your own domain name or you may be utilising free web space offered by your ISP or another service that offers free home pages.

Mouselight can arrange for your Domain Name (eg. www.yourname.com) to be registered. We can also suggest various web hoster options to host your web site. The cost will depend on your requirements and the size of the site.

Mouselight can provide ongoing maintenance to your site should you so wish. This includes updating page information, adding new pages and content such as images, links etc.

We can also manage your site at server level, monitoring hits on your site, maintaining disk usage levels and applying spam filters to your mail server.
